FadoFado – “a long, long time ago in Ireland”, lived Fionn, the Boy Warrior who had a tutor, Finnegas, who was a poet and seer. Set against the legendary River Boyne, in County Meath, along with its mysterious fish, a monstrous and wise salmon, swimming in its depths, this is one of Ireland’s best known legends.
Finnegas had a reputation for being crafty in word and deed, as well as deep in the lore of the old Tuatha dé Danann, the ancient mythical race that existed in pre-Christian Ireland, and he'd made his home beside the river Boyne in the hopes of catching the Salmon of Knowledge and gaining the knowledge of the world.
Immerse yourself in old Ireland, its fables and its food in this Salmon of Knowledge Show.
